  It's almost as if this is an investing scam writ large. If one shows off the location on a basic map it looks like a no-brainer: a strip mall within easy access of a highway with plenty of extra parking and nearby secondary businesses. In reality it's a dead strip mall hidden at the bottom of some incredibly lumpy terrain. If one's business isn't hidden by the hill it's hidden by the strip of fast food restaurants directly next to the highway. Going to one of the three or four surviving businesses down there feels like visiting a ghost town.
